Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Redistricting, Select was held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in Midland, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:12 a.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

The chair and members of the Committee gave opening remarks.

 

The chair welcomed State Representative Tom Craddick.

 

The chair opened public testimony.  Witnesses who testified are shown on the attached list.  After all witnesses were heard, public testimony was closed.

 

The chair and members of the Committee gave closing remarks.

 

There being no further business, at 9:54 a.m. Senator Gallegos, Jr. moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
