Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, in the Senate Chamber.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Nelson made opening remarks regarding interim charge #8.

 

Senator Nelson called panel one to provide invited testimony on vaccine distribution and capacity (see attached witness list).

 

Senator Nelson called panel two to provide invited testimony on standardized protocols for ISD's and local health authorities (see attached witness list).

 

At 11:59 a.m. Senator Nelson moved that the committee stand recessed until 12:05 p.m; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

At 12:10 p.m. the committee reconvened.   

 

Senator Nelson called panel three to provide invited testimony on ImmTrac registry (see attached witness list).

 

Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.

 

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered. 

 

There being no further business, at 1:44 p.m. Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
