Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17, 2009 and given permission to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 12:38 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

The chair directed that the March 31, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on State Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair laid out HB 632 as pending business.

 

Representative Solomons offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hilderbran moved that HB 632, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
