Pursuant to a notice posted on May 8, 2009, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 8:12 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; Anchia; Flynn; Parker; Woolley (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anderson; Hernandez; Hopson; Veasey (4).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 474.  The chair recognized Representative Flynn to explain the measure.

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)  (Representative Hopson now present.)  The chair recognized Representative Flynn to close on the measure. The bill was left pending without objection.
