Pursuant to a notice posted on April 9, 2009, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 8:06 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; Anchia; Anderson; Flynn; Hopson; Woolley (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Hernandez; Parker; Veasey (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Committee heard invited testimony.  (See attached witness list.)

At 9:55 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon final adjourn./recess.

 

The committee reconvened at 4:40 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; Flynn; Hernandez; Veasey; Woolley (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Anderson; Hopson; Parker (4).

 

A quorum was present.

At 5:46 p.m., on the motion of Representative Anchia and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
