Pursuant to permission granted to meet while the house is in session on May 26, 2009 and to an announcement from the house floor on May 26, 2009, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 7:20 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Thompson; Cook; Bohac; Gutierrez; Laubenberg; Martinez Fischer; Merritt; Morrison; Orr (9).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Bolton (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Representative Martinez Fischer moved that the floor amendments to SB 203, SB 271, SB 531, SB 726, SB 771, SB 806, SB 870, SB 939, SB 978, SB 1068, SB 1199, SB 1247, SB 1263, SB 1369, SB 1440, SB 1492, SB 1629, SB 1759 be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar and the Addendum--Local, Consent, & Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 27, 2009.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Martinez Fischer moved that the floor amendment to SB 1693 be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Senate Bills 3rd Reading on the day the bill is eligible for consideration.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Pursuant to the suspension of all necessary rules and to unanimous consent granted on May 26, 2009, Representative Martinez Fischer moved to add the following measures to the list of measures to be placed on the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Wednesday, May 27, 2009:  SB1204, SB1263, SB1742, SB2135.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Thompson; Cook; Bohac; Gutierrez; Laubenberg; Martinez Fischer; Merritt; Morrison; Orr (9).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

At 7:23 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
