Pursuant to permission granted to meet while the house is in session on May 14, 2009 and to an announcement from the house floor on May 14, 2009, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 6:33 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Thompson; Anchia; Gutierrez; Martinez Fischer; Morrison; Orr (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Cook; Bohac; Bolton; Laubenberg; Merritt (5).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Gutierrez moved that the floor amendment to HB 4710 be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 15, 2009.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Gutierrez moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB413, HB1144, HB1202, HB1266, HB1419, HB1628, HB1782, HB2021, HB2046, HB2123, HB2821, HB3292, HB3521, HB3555, HB3713, HB4225, HB4226, HB4703.

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Pursuant to the suspension of all necessary rules and to unanimous consent granted on May 14, 2009, Representative Anchia moved to add the following measures to the list of measures to be placed on the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Friday, May 15, 2009:  HB466, HB2035, HB2466, HB3353, HB3760, HB3799, HB3990, HB4741, HB4787.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Thompson; Anchia; Gutierrez; Martinez Fischer; Morrison; Orr (6).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Cook; Bohac; Bolton; Laubenberg; Merritt  (5).

 

At 6:36 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
