Pursuant to a notice posted on May 1, 2009, and the five day rule suspended on SB 2523 on May 5, 2009, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kuempel, at 8:02 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Thompson; Chisum; Menendez (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which CSHB 2091.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

Representative Kuempel moved that HB 2091, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
