On April 15, 2009, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures held on April 9, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 9, 2009, the House Committee on Licensing & Administrative Procedures met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kuempel, at 1:25 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kuempel; Thompson; Geren; Gutierrez; Hamilton; Jones; Menendez; Quintanilla (8).

 

Absent:              Representative Chisum (1).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB1175 as pending business.

 

Representative Thompson offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Thompson moved that HB1175, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
