Pursuant to a notice posted on June 30, 2010, and revised on July 23, 2010 and July 29, 2010, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on El Paso Redistricting, met jointly with the House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on El Paso Redistricting, in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Tryon Lewis, at 10:05 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Alonzo; Hughes; Lewis (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

The House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on El Paso Redistricting, was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 10:06 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Pickett; Hilderbran; Villarreal (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Hunter addressed the audience. The following Representatives were present: Representatives Moody; Pena; Alvarado; Marquez; Quintanilla; Chavez.

At 12:43 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
