Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and an announcement from the House floor on May 21, 2009, the House Committee on Human Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Rose, at 8:12 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Elkins; Hernandez; Hughes; Walle (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The House Committee on Human Services met in a joint Committee Hearing with the Senate Health and Human Services Committee.

Representative Darby moved that HCR 255, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representative Hernandez  (1).
