Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 19, 2009, the House Committee on House Administration met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 12:13 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Geren; Rose; Callegari; Eissler; Howard, Donna; Miller, Doug; Ortiz, Jr.; Riddle; Shelton (9).

 

Absent:              Representatives Allen; Vo (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Chair recognized Vice Chairman Rose, who moved to amend the section on House Administration and the section on Property in the Personnel Manual Policies and Procedures 2009.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Geren; Rose; Callegari; Eissler; Howard, Donna; Miller, Doug; Ortiz, Jr.; Riddle; Shelton (9).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Allen; Vo  (2).

 

The Chair thanked the committee.  At 12:28 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
