Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and permission granted to meet while the House was in Session on May 18, 2009, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 5:07 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Chisum; Farrar; Veasey (3).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1425.

Representative Legler offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Legler moved that SB 1425, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                             None (0).
