Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 13, 2009, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, at 5:34 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 2445.

 

Representative Burnam moved that SB 2445, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Cook; Chisum; Burnam; Dunnam; Hancock; Legler; Weber (7).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Farrar; Veasey  (2).

 

(Although not present, Representative Veasey requested to be shown in favor of SB 2445 and would have voted aye had he been present.)

The chair laid out SB 1387.

 

Representative Chisum moved that SB 1387, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
