Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and with permission to meet while the house was in session on May 7, 2009, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Todd, at 1:43 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

The chair directed that the April 6, 2009, April 7, 2009, and May 2, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Elections be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
