CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 7, 2009, the House Committee on Elections authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Elections held on May 2, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and with permission to meet while the house was in session on May 2, 2009, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Todd, at 9:22 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Smith, Todd; Pena; Allen; Anchia; Brown, Betty; Heflin (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Bohac; Bonnen; Harper-Brown (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 3715

 

The chair laid out HB 3715.

 

Representative Heflin offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative King, Susan to explain the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Heflin moved that HB 3715, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Smith, Todd; Pena; Allen; Anchia; Brown, Betty; Heflin (6).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Bohac; Bonnen; Harper-Brown  (3).

The chair laid out HB 4033.

 

Representative Brown, Betty offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair explained the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Allen moved that HB 4033, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
