Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 22, 2009, and permission received to meet while the House was in Session, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gallego, at 8:42 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Gallego; Christian; Fletcher; Hodge; Kent; Pierson; Vaught; Vo (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Miklos; Moody; Riddle (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Pierson moved that the May 6, 2009 minutes for the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 8:43 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
