Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2009 and permission received to meet while the House is in Session, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gallego, at 1:20 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Gallego; Kent; Miklos; Moody; Pierson; Riddle; Vaught; Vo (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Christian; Fletcher; Hodge (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the April 9, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence,  Subcommittee on Subcommittee on Victims Rights and Violence Against Women committee be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 1:22 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
