Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 2009, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative McReynolds, at 9:20 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

At 9:55 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until during reading and referral of bills.
The committee reconvened at 11:50 a.m. after a suspension of the rules on the House floor to allow the committee to meet during the reading and referral of bills. The meeting was called to order by the chair, Representative McReynolds. The roll was answered as follows:
