Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 9, 2009, and permission received to meet while the House is in session on April 9, 2009, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative McCall, at 10:22 a.m.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
