On April 28, 2009, the House Committee on Business & Industry authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Business & Industry held on April 17, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17, 2009, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 2:09 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Deshotel; Elkins; Christian; Keffer; Miller, Sid; Orr; Quintanilla; Turner, Sylvester (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives England; Gattis; Giddings (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 345

 

The chair recalled HB 345 from subcommittee.

 

Representative Quintanilla offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Quintanilla moved that HB 345, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
