CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On April 20, 2009, the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs held on April 8, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 8, 2009, and pursuant to permission granted on April 8, 2009 to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gonzales, at 12:06 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Gonzales; Flores; Leibowitz; Moody; Olivo; Raymond; Shelton (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Flynn; Guillen (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 3650

 

The chair laid out HB 3650.

 

Representative Moody offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Moody moved that HB 3650, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Gonzales; Flores; Leibowitz; Moody; Olivo; Raymond; Shelton (7).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Flynn; Guillen  (2).

 

HB 4353

 

The chair laid out HB 4353.

 

Representative Flores offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
