Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2009, and pursuant to permission granted by the house March 23, 2009 to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gonzales, at 3:52 p.m.
