Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education, Subcommittee on Education, met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg, at 8:10 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Hochberg; Aycock; Villarreal (3).

 

Absent:            Representatives King, Susan; Morrison (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:57 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 2:30 p.m., March 17, 2009.

 

The committee reconvened at 2:44 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hochberg; Aycock; Morrison (3).

 

Absent:              Representatives King, Susan; Villarreal (2).

 

A quorum was present.
