Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 8:23 a.m.

Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services

 

The chair laid out the subcommittee recommendations for the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services.

Representative Cohen moved the adoption of the subcommittee recommendations.  The motion was adopted without objection.

Representative King moved to amend the subcommittee recommendations to move Item 10a (Facility and Community-Based Regulation) to Article XI.  The motion was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Eiland moved the adoption of the subcommittee recommendations for the Department of Aging and Disability Services as amended.  The motion was adopted without objection.

Representative Isett moved the adoption of the subcommittee recommendations for the Department of State Health Services as amended.  The motion was adopted without objection.

 

Health and Human Services Commission

 

The chair laid out the subcommittee recommendations for the Health and Human Services Commission.
