AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to meetings of the Coastal Coordination Council. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subsection (b), Section 33.204, Natural |
|
|
Resources Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(b) The council shall meet twice [once in] each calendar |
|
|
year and as necessary to conduct the business of the council |
|
|
[quarter] and shall set aside time at each meeting for public |
|
|
comment on any issue under the jurisdiction of the council. The |
|
|
commissioner is chair of the council. The chair or any three |
|
|
members of the council may convene [special] meetings at such |
|
|
[other] times and places as they may determine necessary and |
|
|
appropriate. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
