AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to compensation for the use of the public transportation |
|
|
system of a regional transportation authority. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subsection (c), Section 452.061, Transportation |
|
|
Code, is amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(c) Compensation for the use of the public transportation |
|
|
system, including parking fees and [Fares for] passenger |
|
|
transportation fares, may be set according to a zone system or to |
|
|
another classification that the authority determines to be |
|
|
reasonable. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2009. |
