	Amend CSHB 300 (House committee printing) by adding the 
following appropriately numbered ARTICLE to the bill and 
renumbering the remaining ARTICLES of the bill accordingly:

ARTICLE ____.  SPECIALTY LICENSE PLATES
	SECTION ____.____.  Section 504.614, Transportation Code, 
is amended by adding Subsection (d) to read as follows:
	(d)  Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, 
the department shall issue specialty license plates that include 
the name and insignia of the San Antonio Spurs.  After deduction of 
the department's administrative costs, the remainder of the fee for 
issuance of the license plates issued under this subsection shall 
be deposited to the credit of the Texas parks and wildlife 
conservation and capital account established by Section 11.043, 
Parks and Wildlife Code.  Money deposited in the Texas parks and 
wildlife conservation and capital account under this section is 
supplementary and is not income for the purposes of reducing 
general revenue appropriations to the Parks and Wildlife 
Department.
