At this hearing, the Committee will consider bills relating to assessment
instruments in public schools.  It may be difficult to cover all aspects
of this complex subject during the time allotted for oral presentations.
Therefore, the Committee invites interested parties to submit position
papers on the subject, which will be distributed to all committee members.
 
Should you wish to submit a position paper, please provide 15 copies to
the Committee staff prior to your testimony, and clearly indicate on the  
position paper the bill(s) to which your paper refers.
 
In addition, please note that bills may not necessarily be taken up in the
order specified above, depending upon the availability of bill authors.
