Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rules 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Subcommittee on Health Insurance Mandates was held on Thursday, May 17, 2007, in the Senate Chamber, Senator Tommy Williams' Desk, in Austin, TX.

MEMBERS PRESENT:

Senator Troy Fraser

Senator Leticia Van de Putte

Senator Tommy Williams, Subcommittee chair, called the meeting to order at 6:13 p.m.  Their being a quorum present the following business was transacted:  The chair laid out as a matter of pending business SB 674.  Senator Van de Putte sent up a committee substitute.  Senator Van de Putte moved adoption of the committee substitute; without objection, it was so ordered.  Senator Van de Putte moved that SB 674 do not pass but that CSSB 674 be reported back to the full Senate committee on State Affairs with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion carried with a record vote of 3 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent. 

 

There being no further business, at 6:15 p.m. Senator Williams moved that the Subcommittee be adjourned Sine Die. Without objection, it was so ordered.
