CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On April 11, 2007, the House Committee on Ways & Means authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Ways & Means held on April 4, 2007. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 30, 2007, and pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and all necessary rules on April 2, 2007, to consider HB 2786, and a revised posting on April 2, 2007, to reflect the suspension, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer, Jim, at 6:22 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Keffer, Jim; Ritter; Otto; Bonnen; Pena (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Flores; Paxton; Pitts (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 21, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Ways & Means be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair laid out HB 1470 as pending business.

 

Representative Bonnen offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Bonnen moved that HB 1470, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
