Pursuant to a notice posted on August 13, 2008, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bailey, at 1:55 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Bailey; Menendez; Cohen; Latham (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Murphy; Mallory Caraway; Martinez Fischer (3).

 

A quorum was present.
