Pursuant to an ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE HOUSE FLOOR on Wednesday, May 16, 2007, (House Journal, Page 4283, Daily Edition), the Committee on Urban Affairs, of the Texas House of Representatives, met in a FORMAL MEETING, and was called to order by the Chairman, the Honorable Kevin Bailey, at 12:22 p.m., on Wednesday, May 16, 2007.

The Chairman laid out SENATE BILL No. 1212.
Vice-Chairman Murphy moved that SENATE BILL No. 1212, WITHOUT AMENDMENT(S), be reported FAVORABLY to the full House of Representatives with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion PREVAILED by the following Record Vote:
