Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 17, 2007, the House Committee on Transportation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 6:19 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Harper-Brown; Harless; Macias (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SB 1693

 

The chair laid out SB 1693 as pending business.

 

Representative Krusee offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Krusee moved that SB 1693, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Haggerty; Hill; Murphy (5).

 

Nays:                             Representative Deshotel (1).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

The chair laid out SJR 67. 

 

Representative Krusee moved that SJR 67, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
