Pursuant to a notice posted on February 15, 2007, the House Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 8:08 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Harper-Brown; Haggerty; Harless; Hill; Macias; Murphy (8).

 

Absent:              Representative Deshotel (1).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:56 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 10:30 a.m., or upon final adjournment or recess of the House of Representatives, or, if suspension of the rules permits, during reading and referral of bills, February 20, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 5:18 p.m. after a suspension of the rules on the House floor by Representative Krusee to allow the committee to meet during the reading and referral of bills.  The meeting was called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee. The roll was answered as follows:
