CORRECTED MINUTES

 

On May 18, 2007, the House Committee on State Affairs authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on State Affairs held on May 8, 2007.  The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on May 7, 2007, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 8:45 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Swinford; Christian; Cook, Byron; Flynn; Veasey (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Paxton; Van Arsdale; Farrar; Parker (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SB 889

 

The chair laid out SB 889 as pending business.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

The bill was left pending without objection.

 

At 8:59 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
