CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On March 13, 2007, the House Committee on State Affairs authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on State Affairs held on February 26, 2007. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on February 21, 2007, and permission granted to allow the committee to meet during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Swinford, at 3:23 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Swinford; Paxton; Christian; Cook, Byron; Parker (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Van Arsdale; Farrar; Flynn; Veasey (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 860

 

The chair laid out HB 860.

 

The chair recognized Representative Paxton to explain the measure.

Representative Swinford offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
