Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on February 1, 2007, the House Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative McClendon, at 4:10 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives McClendon; Macias; Bolton; Cohen; Hancock; Harless; Hernandez; King, Susan; Murphy; Ortiz, Jr. (10).

 

Absent:              Representative England (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Chair recognized Chris Griesel, Deputy Parliamentarian of the House to address the committee.

 

(Representative England now present.)

 

The Chair recognized Robert Haney, Chief Clerk of the House to address the committee.

 

At 4:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
