Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 21, 2007, and being granted permission to meet while the House is in session, the House Committee on Culture, Recreation, & Tourism met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hilderbran, at 9:24 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hilderbran; Homer; Howard, Donna; O'Day (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Kuempel; Dukes; Phillips (3).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB410.

 

Representative Howard, Donna offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Howard, Donna moved that SB410, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Hilderbran; Homer; Howard, Donna; O'Day (4).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).
