Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and permission granted to meet while the House was in session, on May 9, 2007, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at 4:42 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives King, Phil; Christian; Crabb; Hartnett; Oliveira; Straus (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Turner; Smithee; Swinford (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SB 225

 

The chair laid out SB 225 as pending business.

 

The chair explained the measure.

 

Representative Oliveira moved that SB 225, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives King, Phil; Christian; Crabb; Hartnett; Oliveira; Straus (6).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Turner; Smithee; Swinford  (3).

 

At 4:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
