Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and permission to meet while the House was in session, on April 25, 2007, the House Committee on Regulated Industries met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Phil, at 1:18 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representative Smithee (1).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 483.

 

Representative King, Phil offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair explained the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Crabb moved that SB 483, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives King, Phil; Christian; Turner; Crabb; Hartnett; Oliveira; Straus; Swinford (8).

 

Nays:                             None (0).
