Pursuant to a notice posted on June 10, 2008, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 10:02 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Driver; Latham; Allen, Alma; Ortiz, Jr. (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Frost; Vo; West, George "Buddy" (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Interim Charge #6: Monitor the agencies and programs under the committee's jurisdiction.
