Pursuant to a notice posted on May 9, 2007, and pursuant to an announcement on the House floor on May 14th, 2007, and being granted permission to meet while the House is in session pending receipt of Senate messages and reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 6:30 p.m.
