Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 2, 2007 to take up and consider HB 2813 and pending business, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 11:08 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2813.

 

Representative Driver offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Latham moved that HB 2813, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
