Pursuant to a notice posted on April 25, 2007, and after a suspension of the rules on the House floor by Representative Madden, who requested permission for all committees and subcommittees to meet while the house was in session on April 30, 2007, during the reading and referral of bills, pursuant to their committee postings, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 7:54 p.m.
