Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 25, 2007, and after a suspension of the rules on the House floor by Representative Driver, who requested permission for all committees and subcommittees to meet while the house was in session on April 25, 2007, during the reading and referral of bills, pursuant to their committee postings, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 8:29 p.m.

Representative Latham moved that HB 124, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
