Pursuant to an announcement from the House floor on April 4, 2007, the House Committee on Law Enforcement was granted permission to meet in a formal meeting during lunch recess and met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 12:24 p.m.

Due to the caption not being updated on the committee substitute for HB 1423, Representative Frost moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
