Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 20, 2007 for a formal meeting and pursuant to the permission granted for the committee to meet while the house is in session during bill referral, the House Committee on Law Enforcement met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Driver, at 11:59 a.m.

Present:              Representatives Driver; Latham; Ortiz, Jr.; Vo; West, George "Buddy" (5).

The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

Representative Vo moved that HB 320, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                             Representatives Driver; Latham; Ortiz, Jr.; Vo; West, George "Buddy" (5).
