CORRECTED MINUTES

 

On April 24, 2007, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Pensions & Investments held on March 27, 2007. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 22, 2007 and revised on March 23, 2007, and permission granted to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 3:53 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; Villarreal; Burnam; Macias (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives McClendon; Keffer; Rodriguez (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

(Representative Rodriguez now present.) (Representative Villarreal in chair.)

 

HB 2365

 

The chair laid out HB 2365.

 

The chair recognized Representative Truitt to explain the measure.

 

Representative Macias offered a complete committee substitute.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

(Representative Keffer  now present.)

 

(Representative McClendon now present.)

 

The chair recognized Representative Truitt to close on the measure.

 

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

 

The bill was left pending without objection.

 

At 7:30 p.m., on the motion of Representative McClendon and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
