CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

 

On March 29, 2007, the House Committee on Pensions and Investments authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Pensions and Investments held on March 22, 2007.  The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 16, 2007, and permission granted to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Pensions & Investments met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 1:00 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Truitt; McClendon; Burnam; Macias; Rodriguez (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Villarreal; Keffer (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 1105

 

The chair laid out HB 1105 as pending business.

 

Representative Macias offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative McClendon to explain the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Macias moved that HB 1105, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
